Rebuild

The cabinet came out nice, I think….at least it looks way better than before I started. I could not find anyone who reproduces the 1984 Eight Ball Deluxe cabinet art either as a decal or a stencil (the artwork differs slightly from the original 1981 Eight Ball Deluxe release) so I went with a 1981 stencil. Someday, if someone reproduces the 1984 artwork, I may redo the cab.

Since this restoration is obviously not going to be 100% faithful to the original 1984, I decided to put on my own “blue” accent touches here and there. This includes the flipper buttons, the tilt and transformer boards, playfield posts, kickstand, leg bolt armor plates, coin box tray, flipper rubbers, and pop bumper skirts.
