Final

Winner of two awards at the 2024 Rocky Mountain Pinball Showdown! 1st Place Best of Show and 1st Place Best Restoration! Over 150 pins from all eras were in the competition.

Here's a rundown of the new parts. Everything else got fixed and/or rebuilt and polished along the way:

  • Outside Edge Playfield Hardtop

  • CPR Backglass

  • CPR Plastics

  • PiniTech LED Score Displays

  • Comet LEDs

  • All PCBs repaired, re-capped and bullet-proofed

  • Weebly MPU with updated Game ROM rules (by Quench)

  • Extensively damaged cabinet repaired and repainted

  • Pinball Pimp cabinet stencils

  • New ground braiding run throughout the cabinet, plus new power cord

  • New side rails

  • New legs and levelers

  • New playfield rails by Reese Rails

  • Reproduction cabinet tech labels

  • Reproduction apron and shooter gauge decals

  • New drop targets and decals

  • New flipper buttons

  • Coin door disassembled, cleaned/polished, and rebuilt with new pricing plates. Working coin mechs!

  • New pop bumper caps

  • New rubbers

All in all, there are about 130 hours into this restoration. This 46 year machine now plays better and faster than it ever did and it looks like it just came off the assembly line.

I made these two videos a few years ago and I have since updated the game ROM on Weebly’s replacement CPU to Quench’s fantastic update with new scoring rule options and a few OEM bugs fixed.
